About Naledi Mokoena
Naledi Mokoena builds afro house from the bottom up: a log drum carrying the whole record, layered hand percussion recorded in a concrete yard for the slap, and a marimba figure repeated until it turns into a chant. She plays rooftop parties that start at midnight and end when the sky over Johannesburg goes pink. Made in Braamfontein and sold direct.
