Use Suno to make your music and Played to give your finished releases a storefront. Set your prices, share your store and collect opted-in fan emails you can export. Cover art, mastering and release copy tools are included in every Played plan.
Do I need an audience before I start?
No existing audience is required. Start with a release you want people to hear, then use your launch kit, share links, press kit and embeddable player to promote it. Eligible public music can appear in Explore and Browse, but publishing does not guarantee listeners or sales.
Will Played put my music on Spotify?
Played gives you your own storefront and listening pages. It does not distribute releases to Spotify or Apple Music. You can use a separate distributor alongside Played, subject to that distributor’s policies.
What does Played cost?
Artist starts at $12.99/month. Pro is $19.99/month and Label is $29.99/month. Plans renew until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals and access continues through the paid period. See the plans for annual billing options.
Do you take a cut of my music sales?
Played takes 0% platform commission on music sales and sync deals. Your subscription and payment provider fees are separate costs. Fans pay through your own payment links.
How do fans receive their music?
For supported direct PayPal and NOWPayments purchases, the fan pays you and submits a payment reference. You check the payment in your provider account and approve it in Orders. Played then unlocks the private download and emails the buyer. External shops handle their own checkout and delivery.
Can I sell AI-made music?
Yes, if you hold the rights needed to publish and sell it. For Suno music, check the current terms and the terms applicable to your track, including permitted downloads through Suno’s approved channels, your plan, lyrics and samples. A Played subscription does not grant rights to the music. Sync buyers can have additional requirements.
Is a placement guaranteed?
No. A pitch is a submission, not a placement. Pro includes 3 pitches each month and Label includes 10. On the Artist plan you can buy pitches; there is no monthly allowance. An active plan is required. Buyer selection, usage, exclusivity and licence terms depend on each brief and agreement.
Do I keep my music and my audience?
You keep your rights. Fans can opt in to follow your storefront, and every paid plan includes CSV export of those fan emails. You can take that list to your email service. An external purchase does not automatically subscribe the buyer.
