What is sync licensing?+
A sync licence gives a buyer permission to use your music with a film, game, advert or other visual project under agreed terms. Played also lists related music briefs, such as podcasts. A brief describes what the buyer is looking for; a pitch is your submission for consideration.
Can I pitch music made with Suno?+
AI acceptance and rights requirements vary by brief. Check the buyer’s requirements before using a pitch, and submit only music you have the rights to license. Check Suno’s current terms and the terms applicable to your track, including permitted downloads, lyrics and samples. A paid Played plan does not clear those rights for you.
What does Pro include?+
Pro costs $19.99/month and includes 3 pitches each month, plus your storefront, creative tools and detailed listening reports. Label includes 10 monthly pitches. Artist has no monthly pitch allowance; pitches can be purchased separately on an active Artist plan.
Do I need to upload my music before pitching?+
You can select a track from your Played storefront or use an external track link. Make sure the buyer can hear it and that it meets the brief’s format and rights requirements.
What happens after I submit a pitch?+
A pitch submits your track and explanation for consideration. If shortlisted, be ready to confirm rights, samples, AI disclosure and the required files. The buyer’s selection and the final usage, fee and licence depend on the brief and agreement.
Is a placement guaranteed?+
No. Your subscription includes access and the stated pitch allowance, not a guaranteed placement, income or buyer response. Published brief budgets are potential opportunities, not artist earnings.
Do I keep control of my rights?+
Any licence must define the agreed use of your music. Check its duration, territory, exclusivity and fee before agreeing. Played takes 0% platform commission on sync deals; your subscription and any payment provider fees are separate.
Can I cancel my plan?+
Yes. Cancel future renewals in billing settings. Access continues through the paid period. Plans renew until cancelled; annual plans are billed upfront.
